Rainbow Six Extraction and more

2021 has been a terrific year for Xbox Game Pass with over $6,000 worth of games added to the subscription service. Between Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, and other Microsoft first-party games, you’re probably already overwhelmed with games to play. But Microsoft isn’t slowing down, dropping new games on the service at a blistering pace. This week, four new games are expected to arrive on Xbox Game Pass.

Nobody Saves the World – January 18 (Console, PC, and Cloud)

This week, Nobody Saves the World, a top-down action-RPG from indie developer DrinkBox Studios (Guacamele!). In this intriguing looking game, which can be played solo or in online co-op, you take on the form of various characters, from a slug to a ghost to a dragon. You can mix and match their abilities and take on upgradable dungeons to save the world.

Pupperazzi – January 20 (Console, PC and Cloud)

Pupperazzi is more of a soothing game. You travel to an island inhabited by all kinds of adorable puppies and take pictures of them. As you capture photos, you can grow your career, upgrade your camera, and discover more dogs.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction – January 20 (Console, PC, and Cloud)

Of the four games coming this week, I’m most excited for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction. In this cooperative shooter, you must stop the spread of an ever-evolving Archaean threat. As a member of the Rainbow Exogenous Analysis & Containment (REACT) team, it’s your job to head to containment zones across the United States and complete high-stakes missions. With changing variables in each mission and a challenging endgame, Rainbow Six Extraction offers high replayability and deep strategy.

Windjammers 2 – January 20 (Console, PC and Cloud)

The fourth and final game coming to Xbox Game Pass this week is Windjammers 2, a long-awaited sequel to the competitive sports title. The principle of Windjammers is simple, throw the disc into your opponent’s goal on the other side of the field. But Windjammers 2 modernizes the series and introduces new gameplay mechanics to keep things fresh.

If you’re an Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass subscriber, these four games will be free to you at launch. Which are you most looking forward to playing?
