Want to watch Halo without having to pay extra? Microsoft offers a free trial of Paramount+. You’re in luck if you’re wondering if the new Halo TV series is any good: Microsoft is offering a one-month trial subscription to Paramount+ and a three-month trial to Marvel Unlimited’s digital comics subscription service with Game Pass Ultimate.
Either way, you’ll need to claim both perks by the last few weeks of May, which we recommend: The Halo series releases in weekly installments, with eight episodes in all. By May 23 (when the Paramount+ benefit expires), all eight episodes of the series should have dropped.
If you subscribe to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you may have noticed reminders about “benefits” that are available as, well, perk. If not, try opening your Xbox app in Windows, then navigate to the Game Pass subheading on the left navigation rail. There’s a similar section in the Xbox console UI, which also tends to push reminders to the console’s “home page.”
Microsoft periodically updates its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate benefits, which currently include various skins and upgrades for Halo Infinite, Apex Legends, Phantasy Star Online 2, and more. There are also trials for Spotify as well as an ad-free version of Hulu worth checking out.
Normally, Game Pass Ultimate costs $15 per month, but you can enjoy two ways to get it for next to nothing: either use our tip to pay Xbox Live Gold and upgrade to Ultimate for cheap, or use Microsoft Rewards to get free .
