Amid the worsening covid-19 pandemic in the state, the Maharashtra Disaster Management Team has decided to issue a universal pass to residents of the state. This universal pass will ensure smoother movement of people across the state while covid-19 restrictions are imposed in the state.

This pass will be issued to people connected to public services such as medicine, utilities and education. Apart from this, the applicant must be a permanent citizen of Maharashtra. The universal pass will be available as a PDF and QR code that they can keep on their mobile when traveling anywhere in the state during the lockdown. When going to any bus or railway stop, applicants simply need to scan their QR code post which will display their vaccination status, personal information, etc.

How to Apply for Maharastra Universal Travel Pass

Currently, the registration portal is down but is expected to be operational within a few hours. This universal pass will help people who want to aim for a smooth transition to their workplace. The following steps mentioned in the space below will be helpful for you to register for the Mumbai universal pass:

Step 1: Visit Maharashtra IT official website, epassmsdma.mahait.org/login

2nd step: On the homepage, click on the universal pass registration link

Step 3: Then click on the Universal pass link for double vaccinated

Step 4: After that, enter your institution certificate, registration number, institution address in detail and professional category. Then enter the registered mobile number and click get OTP and proceed to the next page

Step 5: Finally, go through the details mentioned on the travel pass and download it to the device

Applicants wishing to upload their Maharashtra Travel Pass must maintain the following documents, namely an active registration number, proof of identity issued by the government and the company with which the person works as an employee.
