Low-cost airline IndiGo announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to become the first airline in the country to launch a pilot project for this digital passport initiative. last called Travel Pass.

More than 45 airlines around the world, including Singapore Airlines, Qatar, Emirates, Etihad have already partnered with IATA for tests.
The pilot program in India will start on August 20.
