On all platforms, the game also contains a new mode. Embr is now available on Xbox Game Pass, giving Xbox Game Pass customers unlimited access to the frenzied firefighting game. Embr allows up to four players to take on the role of novice firefighters, fighting fires, and saving civilians (and their belongings) from disasters. The game is quirky and light-hearted, rather than realistic and “aggressive” (for example, you might have to save a person fully clothed but sitting on a toilet). In our first look, you can learn more about Embr and see some gameplay.
Secret Hosr mode is available for free on all platforms, but you will need to own the full set of Embr to access it. Embr is available for $ 19.99 on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and PC. The game is rated E10 + for everyone 10+ by the ESRB. Disclosure: SuperParent has been assigned a code for Embr for coverage purposes. Brandy Berthelson has been writing about video games and technology since 2006, his work appearing on sites such as AOL Games, Digital Spy, and Adweek’s Social Pro Daily. When not playing, Brandy enjoys crafts, cooking and traveling with her husband.
In addition to launching on Xbox Game Pass, Embr now offers a new multiplayer game mode that players can try out on all platforms called Secret Hosr. During each Secret Hosr mission, a player will become “Agent Hosr” who aims to secretly sabotage the team’s efforts. That is, they will have to sabotage the group without letting anyone else know that they are Agent Hosr. Once a player thinks they know who Agent Hosr is, they can use the in-game report tool to vote against them. However, they will only be able to use the report tool once.
